I have completed a few art projects connected to the brilliant classic 1960's band The Zombies. Here is one of them:
I asked Rod Argent, Colin Blunstone and Chris White to write out specific lines from songs they wrote for The Zombies to use in collages I made to accompany copies of their handwritten lyrics. I made images for a series of songs including the 12 songs of their classic album 'Odessey and Oracle' and 12 others chosen from various eras.
This one is I Want Her She Wants Me by Rod Argent from the 1968 album 'Odessey and Oracle'. Terry Quirk, the artist who created the album cover, gave me his permission to use details of his work.
There are a total of 24 different song images printed onto Arena Milk 300 gsm A3 paper.
