I have completed a few art projects connected to the brilliant classic 1960's band, The Zombies. Here is one of them:
I asked Rod Argent, Colin Blunstone and Chris White to write out specific lines from songs they wrote for The Zombies to use in collages I made to accompany copies of their handwritten lyrics. I made images for the 12 songs of their classic album 'Odessey and Oracle' and 12 other songs from various eras.
This one is Any Other Way by Colin Blunstone from the 2011 album, 'Breathe Out, Breathe In'.
The original collage is made with fabrics, found objects and printed papers.
There are a total of 24 different song images printed onto Arena Milk 300 gsm A3 paper.
