We all live surrounded by patterns, motifs, lines and shapes wherever we are. Many of my collages are inspired by maps and urban contours. The human figures that appear in the pictures are either constrained by or breaking out of these patterns.
The 'Legend' series is a set of three large rectangular multimedia collages and based on the patterns of events in life - personal and universal. The original works are not for sale at this point but all three are now available as unframed Limited Edition fine art prints at two-thirds of the original size.
My collages are made with cards, fabrics, found objects, varnish, inks and oil pastels.
