A lot of my work involves other creative disciplines – mainly music. The crossover area is richly varied.
I have an interest in graphic scores and making music from the visual image. One such project culminated in meeting landscape artist Richard Long.
More recently I have made a series of CD covers and booklets for ‘The Chris White Experience’. I have been commissioned to create posters, album covers and images for video work.
My work has featured on merchandise and prints for the band ‘The Zombies’, published in books and animated for use as stage backdrops for live gigs and lyric videos.
It has been my great privilege to tour and perform with The Zombies in Europe and America. After the first American tour I made 7" collages to express 24 of their songs. The originals are not all for sale right now but I made two posters - one is 'Portrait of an Album' which comprises the 12 tracks of 'Odessey and Oracle' and the second embraces 12 Zombies songs chosen from the last six decades.
Prints of the songwriter's handwritten lyrics accompanied by the song image of all 24 individual songs are available.
