This is the first in a series of three large collages inspired by the Bayeux Tapestry. The title ‘Legend’ refers to the Key of a map (the legend) and is also a play on the word legend, as story. The three together depict key moments of a journey through life. Personal and universally felt moments.
The original multimedia collage is not for sale right now. It is over 4 feet wide and was made with fabrics, papers, inks, oil pastel varnishes and found objects.
Limited Editions of ten fine art prints were made of each collage, eight of each are still available. At two-thirds the size of the original work, they are printed on cotton rag paper, signed, numbered and unframed.
